A bit of our story

Upon leaving the USMC at Camp Pendleton, CA, Greg Kapanowski headed to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he immediately began his career in the roofing industry. While maintaining roofs for high-profile casinos, Greg was exposed to various roofing systems, including built-up roofing, modified bitumen, TPO, PVC, EPDM, tile, shingles, foam, and metal roofing.

In 2007, Greg brought his knowledge of west coast roofing back to Michigan, where he combined west coast solutions with best practices of the Midwest. He leveraged his diversified background to improvise, adapt and respond to multiple roofing problems common to the industry. Having a depth of knowledge across numerous systems, Greg understands when and how to integrate solutions, offering customers various options and cost advantages.

Throughout his decades in the roofing business, Greg maintained the values instilled by the USMC of an honest work ethic and professionalism. These core standards have developed into the vision and mission for Kappa Commercial Roofing today: to provide quality service at an affordable price.
